Combination of herringbone parquet and straight planks

The question is often asked whether herringbone/chevron parquet and straight planks flooring can be mixed in the home. The answer is simple: with EDELHOLZ wood floors, of course you can! Our collection is designed in such a way that the different types of herringbone/chevron parquet and straight planks can be harmonised with each other in terms of size, surface texture and colour. This gives our customers the opportunity to choose different wood floors for functionally different yet connected rooms. An excellent example is this family home where the owners have chosen between the two types of wood flooring with our Pompei 2000 surface. To create a consistent style and feel, the unique wooden staircase and treads were also made by our master carpenters with Pompei 2000 finishes - as with the parquet and straight plank flooring.
