The almost knot-free surface of our finest grade radiates elegance and calm. The subtle grain and uniform colour pattern further enhance this effect and make it a favorite, especially for EDELHOLZ herringbone and chevron parquet floors.
Nature
This grade is characterized by an appealing colour pattern with a modest proportion of smaller knots, which are carefully sealed with putty. The result is a calm overall appearance that nevertheless impressively emphasizes the originality of the natural grain of the oak wood.
Rustic
A very popular grade that impresses with its natural vibrancy with knots and cracks, which creates an exciting surface appearance, especially with our large-format oak planks. Carefully repaired small to large knots and a few occasional sapwood pieces, combined with distinctive wood textures and a lively play of colours, create a rich diversity that is highly appreciated by EDELHOLZ customers.
Astig
This is a special variant of our plank product range, which contains the overall calmer appearance of the NATURE grade described above and at the same time pays particular attention to carefully selected and beautiful knots, filled with the greatest care.
Superrustic
An expressive sorting whose natural rusticity with small to large knots is additionally emphasized by carefully selected and hand-crafted cracks of different dimensions.
Authentic
This grading, which is reserved for the impressive visual and tactile EDELHOLZ floors with an air-dried surface, emphasizes the organic surface textures created by this special drying method, the authenticity of which only the best oak wood can be produced. Selected, handfilled knots and cracks also expressively emphasize the beauty and uniqueness of the air-dried surface.

Installation
The straight planks can be installed by screwing down to a sub-construction or - thanks to the improvement of technology – by gluing down to the subfloor. Floating installation method is also possible on Elastilon. As it is always the conditions in the place of installation that determine the appropriate method, it is the best to turn to an expert in every case.
