Pompei 1000 Herringbone
A velvety parquet with a gently brushed surface. The veins of the oak are extremely delicate to the touch, which is also the result of brushing. The treatment opens the pores of wood and brings the planks to life. The keen, soft brown colour is added to the floor by the smoking and the oxidative natural oiling.
For the herringbone parquet the strips are laid at right angles to each other, creating the traditional zigzag pattern.
This wood parquet model is fine-brushed, smoked and oxidative natural oiled.

The chevron or herringbone parquet can be installed by screwing down to a sub-construction or - thanks to the improvement of technology – by gluing down to the subfloor. Floating installation method is also possible on Elastilon. As it is always the conditions in the place of installation that determine the appropriate method, it is the best to turn to an expert in every case.
